Marion and Chris selected Glassy Mountain to exchange their vows. The beautiful June day had just the right amount of mountain breeze to keep everything cool. Overlooking the foothills of South Carolina, Marion and Chris said “I Do” surrounded by family and friends. Starting at Glassy Chapel, the party moved to the Cliffs Glassy clubhouse for dinner.
Marion’s sweet spirit is such a blessing to all who comes in contact with her, and this reflected so beautifully in her relationship with Chris. Anyone can see how much he adores his bride; the gentle way he leads her even during their portrait moments that day shows clearly.
At the reception, aqua linens paired perfectly with warm toned florals atop tables. Gold flatware accented the gold and aqua plates along the head table. The bride had a deep desire for big organic floral arrangements that made an impact, as could be seen at the altar and all around the band’s staging. After dinner, guests headed to the adjacent ballroom, where they mingled and danced all night long!
